The Urban Utility Boot
The Urban Utility Boot was created to combat the rough wear of city winter climates. Made using water-repellent leather mounted on a rubber shoe base, they combine bold, utilitarian design with functionality. Details like snow cuff tongues and removable foot beds are added for retaining warmth and repelling moisture.
We had talented photographer Olof Grind document two modern Vagabonds in their urban enviroments. This is how Beatrice Eli and Erik Rapp styled the Urban Utility Boot.
Beatrice Eli is an awarded singer, songwriter and musician from Stockholm, who embarks on themes centered on relationships, love, passion, and break-ups, telling personal stories –often in happy pop tunes, with a darker undertone. With sold out concerts and many successful festival gigs to date, Beatrice is now back with new material that flirts with 90's r'n'b and retro eurodisco.
”I’m an artist, songwriter and producer. Self acclaimed MIDI Punk Princess. I make emotional pop music from a feminine perspective.”
Erik Rapp is a young promising singer, producer and artist. After spending the beginning of 2017 in Berlin, Erik is now back in Stockholm working on putting together his next release. Erik’s artistry explores the ‘areas in between’, whether it’s gender, beliefs or ideas – exemplifying freedom.
"I work with contrasts in general, making brighter melodies appear darker and the other way around. I want to balance and shape something in between contrasts."
